    Terms of Use

The rules of the road for using Nepse Signal. Plain language where we can, careful language where we must.

    Effective 31 May 2026

Nepse Signal provides information and analysis — not investment advice. Trading securities involves risk, including loss of principal. Make your own decisions.

    1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Nepse Signal (the "Service") — via our website, mobile views, APIs, or any future client — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

    2. About the service

Nepse Signal is a Nepal-focused stock-market analytics platform that aggregates publicly-available NEPSE data — including live prices, indices, the daily floorsheet, listed-broker information, fundamentals, dividends, IPO results, forex, gold/silver prices, and news from multiple sources — and supplements it with AI-driven analysis tools.

Some features are free for anonymous visitors; others require an account or a subscription. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

    3. Not investment advice

Nothing on Nepse Signal — including AI-generated signals, analyst commentary, scoring outputs, backtest results, broker analysis, or sentiment readings — constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, portfolio manager, or merchant banker under SEBON, NEPSE, or any other Nepali or foreign authority.

All content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for any trading or investment decision you make. Consult a qualified, licensed professional before acting on anything you see here.

Past performance — including the backtested or walk-forward performance of any model on the platform — does not guarantee future results.

    4. Your account

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@nepsesignal.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

    5. Acceptable use

    You agree not to:

    • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service except through official APIs and within documented rate limits.
    • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute our data, signals, or charts without a written agreement.
    • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass any authentication, rate-limit, or anti-abuse measure.
    • Use the Service to manipulate any market, including but not limited to pump-and-dump schemes, spoofing, or coordinated misinformation.
    • Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or violates a third-party's rights.
    • Interfere with the Service's normal operation — e.g. flooding requests, deploying bots, or running load-testing without our consent.

    6. Data accuracy

We work hard to keep our market data fresh and accurate, but it is sourced from third parties (NEPSE, ShareHub, ShareSansar, official broker filings, news sites, etc.) and may at times be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" — without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Do not rely on a single data point on the platform for any time-sensitive financial decision. Cross-check with your broker's terminal or NEPSE's official site before placing a trade.

    7. Intellectual property

All software, design, branding, copy, and proprietary analytics on Nepse Signal are owned by Nepse Signal Pvt Ltd or our licensors and are protected by Nepali and international intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Third-party trademarks (e.g. NEPSE, individual broker or company names, news outlets) belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the data being shown.

    8. Third-party content & links

The Service displays content sourced from third parties and may link to external sites. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the accuracy, opinions, or availability of that content, and your use of it is governed by those parties' own terms.

    9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nepse Signal, its directors, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost trading opportunities, or data loss — arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) NPR 1,000.

    10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Nepse Signal harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party right.

    11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, liability limits, indemnity, governing law) will survive.

    12. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing that, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.

    13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Effective" date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice on the platform or contact you by email. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
